Medievalism, Arthuriana, and Landscapes of Enchantment
University of New Mexico, Albuquerque
October 21–22, 2011

26th Annual International
Conference on Medievalism
The conference committee for Studies in Medievalism is pleased to invite you to join us for the 26th Annual International Conference on Medievalism, to be hosted by the Institute for Medieval Studies at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, on October 20–22, 2011. The theme of this year’s conference is “Medievalism, Arthuriana, and Landscapes of Enchantment.” Post-medieval interest in Arthuriana has flourished unabatedly since the 19th-century medieval revival and is, for instance, reflected in the 2010 publication of Joerg O. Fichte’s From Camelot to Obamalot: Essays on Medieval and Modern Arthurian Literature. This year’s program features an excellent spread of papers on art, architecture, film, graphic novels, literature, and video games, as well as plenary addresses by noted scholars Kevin Harty and Elizabeth Sklar. The University of New Mexico is located in Albuquerque, in the Land of Enchantment.
